  8. The River is in the northeastern part of the state. Go US 27 or State Route 62 to Wartburg, TN.

  13. POINTS OF INTEREST
  14. The Obed River and its two main tributaries, Clear Creek and Daddy's Creek, cut into the Cumberland Plateau of East Tennessee, providing some of the most rugged scenery in the southeast. Forty-five miles of streams are protected within the Park. Elevations range from 800 to 1,500 feet.
